Earning money means nothing by itself; you have to choose well what to spend it on to turn it into growth and score. Shop items fall into four groups: seasonal items, gear, permanent upgrades and assets. Here is when each is worth buying.
1. Gear: The First Investment to Make
Gear comes in four slots — keyboard, mouse, monitor and PC — each starting at basic and upgradable through three tiers. Once bought it permanently raises training efficiency, so buying it during your growth years pays off the longest. You can buy it as an amateur too.
| Slot | Affects | Tier 1 / 2 / 3 bonus | Tier 1 / 2 / 3 price (in ₩10,000) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Keyboard | Laning & Teamfight training | +4% · +8% · +12% | 300 · 1,200 · 4,500 |
| Mouse | Mechanics Drills | +5% · +10% · +16% | 300 · 1,200 · 4,500 |
| Monitor | Vision & Macro training | +5% · +10% · +16% | 500 · 2,000 · 7,000 |
| PC | All training | +2% · +5% · +8% | 800 · 3,000 · 10,000 |
The PC applies to all training but its bonus is small, so it is poor value. We recommend upgrading the slot tied to your role’s key stat first (mouse for ADC, monitor for Support and Jungle, keyboard for Top). Note that there is an event where you smash your gear in anger. Its chance rises sharply as your Mental falls (about 10% at Mental 50, about 25% at 30), and broken gear has to be bought again. If you bought expensive gear, keep up your Mental training too.
2. Seasonal Items: Consumables You Rebuy Each Season
- 1:1 Personal Coach: all training efficiency +20% this season. The price depends on your league level.
- Dedicated Analyst: Vision & Macro and Champion Pool training +30%. Good for Jungle, Support and Mid, where those two stats are key.
- Massage & Rehab Care: condition +25, no week used, twice per season. Useful for fitting in more training when condition is hard to manage.
- Energy Drink: condition +5, once per season. It’s very cheap, so you can use it without worry when you have spare money.
Seasonal items all disappear when the season ends. Hiring a coach at ages 14–17, when growth efficiency is highest, is the most efficient; after 25, when growth slows, their value drops a lot.
3. Permanent Upgrades: Dorm and Medical Team
These upgrades are only available once you sign with a pro team.
- Dorm & Meal Plan (max level 4; ₩5M · ₩20M · ₩70M · ₩200M): each level adds +5 to rest recovery and end-of-season recovery.
- Medical & Psych Team (max level 3; ₩8M · ₩30M · ₩100M): each level raises the chance of blocking bad events like injuries, slumps and burnout by 30%. At level 3 you block up to 90%.
The medical team is especially important for Injury-Prone players and veterans who get hurt more often with age.
4. Assets: Money That Turns Into Retirement Score
If you still have money left after spending on growth, buy assets. Assets are added directly to your score when you retire. You can only buy them after signing a pro contract.
| Assets | Price (in ₩10,000) | Score |
|---|---|---|
| Luxury Watch | 500 | +1 |
| Imported Sports Car | 3,000 | +3 |
| Han River View Apartment | 15,000 | +6 |
| Small Office Building | 45,000 | +10 |
| Private Yacht | 120,000 | +15 |
| Private Jet | 400,000 | +25 |
| Buy an Esports Team | 800,000 | +40 |
Score efficiency per price is higher for cheaper assets. The watch gives 1 point for ₩5M, while buying a team gives 40 points for ₩8B, which is far less efficient. But it serves as a last resort for earning more points when you still have money after buying all the cheap assets. Buying all seven adds exactly 100 points, equal to two and a half World Championship titles. Even with few titles you can compete on the ranking if you save money well.
Recommended Priorities
- Amateur: tier 1 of your role’s key gear with part-time income, then an academy or training
- Early pro: coach and analyst (seasonal items), tiers 2–3 of key gear
- Mid pro: medical team upgrades, dorm upgrades
- Late career: buy assets with the money you have left and convert it to score
